Who we are…
Herb Simon Professional Development brings together more than two decades of teaching, research, and community engagement in psychology across the GCC and abroad. Our work is grounded in evidence‑based practice, academic rigor, and a commitment to supporting students, colleagues, and the wider community.
We have taught psychology at universities such as Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, Northwestern University in Qatar, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Bahrain, the American University in Cairo, Gulf University for Science and Technology, and American International University in Kuwait. Through this experience, we have come to understand the strengths, challenges, and potential of student populations in the region.

Our Approach
We combine academic experience, research‑based methods, and a strong commitment to community well‑being. Our work is guided by the belief that psychology should be accessible, practical, and relevant — not only in classrooms, but in everyday life.
We aim to support students, professionals, and community members in developing psychological knowledge and skills that contribute to personal growth, resilience, and healthier communities.
